A Tribute to My Father
"Father!-to God himself we cannot give a holier name"
- William Wordsworth
Father, one of the greatest man I have met, a brave, intelligent, and a loving man, these are the phrases I can tell to my Pa, Val. He worked at a very young age, giving more experiences to his life to share to his two sons: Erison and Eryboy. He labored abroad, learning different languages such as basic Arabic and Nihongo, a Japanese language. My Pa loves to sing, and as a father, he shares all the things he had experienced to his lives. My plan for Father's day is that I give him a time to sing and to obey all his commands for a whole day. Even my little bro, he used to do it as well to appreciate our Pa for that special day for him.
My intention to my father is to make his wish to us become true, to become a successful engineer since he worked as a construction worker and he begged us to get a civil engineering course for our college, which I also wanted to be. Since I am not a college student yet, I wanted to give him his favorite gift I can guess - an album of his favorite singers. In general, the thing I will never forget to do every morning is that I need to wash the dishes always and to prepare myself for a day, things that reminds me of him. For exchange, only a thing I will wish to him - and that's what we call a WHOLE DAY REST and a pinch of FREEDOM, but if we speak of anything that we can see or hold, I will ask him to buy me an ELECTRIC GUITAR because I wished to have one. What I am going to expect to hear from him are the stories of the roads and his principles in life. If I will be asked about what I want him to persuade to do is just don't stop caring and loving us, just continue what he wants to do for us since they say that our parents, not only mother knows the best.
He will not refuse to talk with us whenever we all have problems. My Pa believes that things can be corrected by understanding each other especially when it comes to our struggle with my lit'l bro but sometimes, he gets tough and he always teaches lessons for the betterment of our lives. As an eldest child, I will remind him to take care of his health and always pray to Our loving and Almighty, the Greatest Father of all. If possible, I will always be here at his side to take care of him always, with all my deeds and with all my heart. My Pa, Val, the greatest man I know, will be always in my heart and I will remember him always as a son should remember his own and only father.
